- Paste text, upload a file (PDF, DOCX, TXT, or an image), or snap a photo. Hidden Catch reads the document with AI and returns a plain-English, severity-ranked risk report that quotes each risky clause, explains it, and suggests what to do about it.
- Is my document stored?
- Not by us. Documents are processed ephemerally to generate your report and are never stored on our servers. The text is analyzed by OpenAI under API terms that do not use it to train models; we set the no-storage flag on every request, and under OpenAI’s API policy any abuse-monitoring copy is deleted within 30 days. - What types of documents can it review?
- Contracts, leases and rental agreements, NDAs, employment agreements, privacy policies, terms of service, and most other legal or policy documents.
- What languages are supported?
- Hidden Catch reviews documents and returns reports in over 10 languages, including English, Spanish, Portuguese, and French. You can also receive the report in a language different from the source document.
- How much does Hidden Catch cost?
- Everything runs on credits. A scan costs 1 credit for a typical document, and larger documents cost more because they take more analysis. The optional follow-up tools each cost 1 credit: asking up to 10 questions about a report, comparing a re-scan against a previous report, or drafting a negotiation reply. The official source check costs 1 credit for a normal document. In every case the exact cost is shown to you, and nothing is charged until you confirm. Credits come in one-time bundles, starting at $9 for 5 credits, and purchased credits never expire. If you have an invite code, redeeming it adds starter credits to your account.
- Why not just paste my contract into ChatGPT or Claude in a temporary chat?
- You can, but you get a different tool. A general chatbot gives you a one-off conversational answer that depends on how well you prompt it, and temporary or incognito chats may still be retained by the provider for a period for safety review. Hidden Catch is purpose-built for this one job: it produces the same structured, severity-ranked report every time, quotes each risky clause with a plain-English explanation and a suggested action, handles long documents and photographed pages, and can verify claims against official government sources with linked citations.
