Hidden Catch is a software tool that provides general, AI-generated information about documents you choose to submit. It is not a law firm, it does not provide legal advice, and using it does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and Hidden Catch or anyone else. Reports are self-help information for your general understanding only. For decisions with significant consequences, including anything involving deadlines, government filings, or signing binding agreements, consult a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction.

Accuracy and limitations

Reports are generated by artificial intelligence. AI analysis can miss risks, misread text, or state things incorrectly, and a report may not reflect the laws of your jurisdiction or the full context of your situation. Hidden Catch flags potential risks; it does not guarantee that every risk in a document will be identified or that everything it flags is significant. You are responsible for decisions you make based on a report.

Credits and payments

Scanning consumes credits. The number of credits a scan uses depends on the size of the document, and the cost is shown to you for confirmation before the scan runs. Optional follow-up actions, such as the official source check, asking questions about a report, comparing two reports, or drafting a reply, each consume credits too; every one of them shows its cost and asks for your confirmation before anything is charged. Credits from purchased packs do not expire. Purchases are processed by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record, and applicable taxes may be added at checkout depending on your location. Prices are shown before you pay.

If something goes wrong with a purchase, or credits were consumed by a scan that failed to produce a report, contact us at the address below and we will make it right. Refunds of unused credits can be requested within 14 days of purchase.

Acceptable use

You agree to submit only documents you have the right to review, and not to use the service for any unlawful purpose, to violate anyone else's privacy or rights, or to probe, overload, or disrupt the service. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account.

Official source checks

The optional official source check compares details in your document against public government websites at the moment the check runs. Its results reflect those sources as of the date shown on the report. Official information can change at any time, and we do not guarantee that a check is complete or that the sources consulted remain current. Always confirm important details on the linked official page before acting.

No warranty

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights that mandatory consumer protection law in your country gives you and that cannot be waived by agreement.

Accounts and changes to these terms

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms. We may update these terms as the service evolves; the date above always reflects the current version, and material changes will be reasonably communicated. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
